📌 JOB ADVERT 1: OPERATIONS MANAGER

✅About the Role
BOFATECH Solutions is seeking an inspiring, forward-thinking Operations Manager to provide enterprise-level oversight across our digital ecosystem—spanning the deployment of BOFA EDU SUITE (BES) and operational management of key subsidiaries including SkillCitadel and BOFA Marketplace.
This is a pivotal leadership position that requires operational discipline, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for transforming how educational and digital services are delivered across Africa and globally.
✅Key Responsibilities
BES Deployment & Digital Transformation Oversight
🔹Lead end-to-end deployment of BES (LMS, SIS, CMS, HRMS, CRM) across partner institutions.
🔹Coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver milestones on time and within scope.
🔹Develop operational frameworks, SOPs, and onboarding playbooks for institutional partners.
🔹Monitor SLAs, performance metrics, and client satisfaction throughout the deployment lifecycle.
✅Subsidiary Management (SkillCitadel & BOFA Marketplace)
🔹Oversee operations for both platforms, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with organisational priorities.
🔹Support product managers in tutor onboarding, content quality, platform improvements, and customer experience.
🔹Manage workflow optimisation, resource planning, and staff performance across units.
✅Strategic Operations & Business Enablement
🔹Translate executive direction into actionable operational plans across business units.
🔹Implement data-driven dashboards, reporting structures, and continuous improvement cycles.

✅Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
🔹Act as a key liaison between BOFATECH, universities, tutors, vendors, marketplace partners, and internal departments.

✅Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance
🔹Ensure adherence to data protection laws (including NDPA), cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.

✅About the Role
BOFATECH Solutions is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with strong PHP and web application development experience to maintain, secure, and optimise the multi-platform digital ecosystem powering the BOFA EDU SUITE (BES), SkillCitadel, BOFA Marketplace, and related solutions.
This role blends systems administration, security engineering, and web application support, making it ideal for a versatile, forward-thinking professional with hands-on programming capability.
✅Key Responsibilities
1. Systems & Infrastructure Administration
🔹    Manage and optimise cloud (AWS/Hybrid) and on-premise infrastructure—servers, databases, caching, storage, and network resources.
🔹    Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and implement tuning strategies across all platforms.
🔹Execute routine maintenance, security updates, patching schedules, and architecture upgrades.
2. Web Application Support & Development
🔹Provide technical support for PHP-based systems and custom-built applications used across BOFATECH’s digital ecosystem.
🔹Maintain and enhance Laravel-powered applications, including API integrations, backend performance improvements, and feature extensions.
🔹Manage and optimise WordPress infrastructures for landing pages, microsites, and marketing portals—including plugin updates, security hardening, and theme customisation.
🔹Diagnose and resolve complex application issues affecting functionality, speed, or security.
3. Platform Maintenance (LMS • SIS • HRMS • CRM • Marketplace)
🔹Support deployments, version control, and updates for all enterprise applications within BES and subsidiary systems.
🔹Collaborate with development teams on new releases, code pushes, rollbacks, and platform enhancements.
🔹Provide Level 2/3 support to universities, tutors, and marketplace vendors.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
🔹Implement cyber hygiene policies: MFA, encryption, firewalls, vulnerability scanning, SIEM monitoring, and secure coding principles.
🔹Respond to security incidents promptly and reinforce compliance with NDPA, GDPR, ISO, and SOC2 requirements.
🔹Ensure safe handling of platform data and transactional information.
5. Network & Systems Integration
🔹Administer DNS, SSL certificates, VPNs, load balancers, API gateways, and distributed systems.
🔹Support integrations between LMS–SIS–CRM stacks, marketplace systems, payment gateways, and authentication/SSO layers.
🔹Manage email routing, SMTP configurations, and related cloud communication services.
6. Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
🔹Develop and execute strong data backup, replication, and recovery strategies across all platforms.
🔹Conduct routine DR tests to validate resilience and readiness for partner institutions and businesses.
7. Documentation & Technical Standards
🔹Maintain complete documentation: runbooks, deployment guides, system diagrams, code repositories, and SOPs.
🔹Assist with QA processes, automation scripts, and infrastructure-as-code approaches.
✅Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Programming & Frameworks
🔹Strong experience in PHP development.
🔹Proficiency in Laravel, including MVC architecture, Blade templates, queues, Eloquent ORM, and REST APIs.
🔹Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js) is an added bonus.
✅Web & CMS Expertise
🔹Solid experience managing WordPress, including plugin management, theme customisation, and security hardening.
